I don’t know about the rest of you but I really need a little humor in my politics. It keeps me from screaming at my Television set.
That being said I happened across this and had to share…..
This Tim Hawkins guy is brilliant but the guy that invents a television that I can punch some one through will be a rich rich man…. at least until he pays his taxes.
What else is there to say Mr. Hawkins covered it all I think. Unless someone would like to point out any inaccuracies he may have made. But lets face it that would be a tough challenge. As you may notice this was about the government as a whole, not just Barack Obama or George W. Bush.
Yeah some of these guys in Washington show up with good intentions but, as the saying goes, “The road to hell is paved with good intentions.”
Then there are the rest of Washington. I think Fred Thompson,the former Republican Senator from Tennessee, said it best: “Many politicians come to Washington with ideas of cleaning up the cesspool and finding a Hot tub.”
Thanks Fred I got a good laugh out of that. I haven’t followed his career in politics so I can’t say if he’s a hypocrite or not. If any one would like to enlighten me please do.
It just goes to show that politics CAN be funny! I hope you all think so too.
