Why Ann Coulter is Hated by Left Wing Liberals

I recently seen Ann Coulter on Larry King Live I now realize why liberals hater her.  She handed Larry Kings fill in Joy

Ann Coulter - Conservative Pundit

Ann Coulter - Conservative Pundit

Behar her head. I don’t think she will be invited on to that show again anytime soon. In all fairness Behar was outclassed she is not a political analyst she’s just a talk show host on The View. Ann Coulter has written at least 5 Best Selling books on politics, she is a well respected conservative pundit. Behar is just another sheep in the herd, mindlessly regurgitating the liberal rhetoric that she hears from the ever so loonier left on a daily basis and attempting to make sensible points out of the idiocrity that is the dogma of the liberal democrat.

Any one who has ever seen The View can see that all of the women on this show are all liberal cooks accept for Elizabeth Hasselbeck. The others always gang up on her on political issues because she’s not a liberal tree hugger like the rest of them. But Ann Coulter is a much bigger fish than Elizabeth Hasslebeck is. She is not one for kid gloves, she likes to  play hardball.

Coulter is very shrewd and not easily duped into gaffes or cornered on her views. Its not hard to see why many on the left want to silence and discredit Coulter and others like her.

  • Rush Limbaugh is hated probably more than any of them
  • Sean Hannity is a daunting challenge for all the little tree huggers and liberals. Just ask Alec Baldwin (if you can stand to listen to him).
  • Glenn Beck is disliked by liberals because they can’t brand him a republican.
  • Dick Cheney has been rather vocal as of late and they are just outraged that he is defending the Bush years on the airwaves.
  • Micheal Savage is another right wing terrorist quick some one call the CIA - oh wait they’re not trustworthy enough to handle him according to Nancy Pelosi.

These guys are all prominent pains in liberal asses - Pun intended. But the video clip below really hammers home why. Ann Coulter should write an autobiography and call it “Vicious.” I always thought she would be most well known for having the longest neck in politics but this video shows how vicious and brutally relentless she can be. She clearly holds no punches. That folks will be her legacy sheer tenacity.

Ann Coulter personifies why left wing extremists hate those of her ilk. “Do you want to be aborted?!?!” OUCH!!! That had to smart. It was like a Joe Biden press conference only Joy didn’t do it to herself, she was ambushed. Coulter must have thought this up and just waited for the question to be asked.

You gotta love it!

I literally laughed out loud when I first heard this. Behar must be embarrassed to show her face on TV again.

Nancy Pelosi Called Out by CIA

National Security, Politics | Posted by C.C.Mitchell
May 18 2009

The Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi continues to find herself in hot water over her decrial of the treatment of detained enemy combatants in Guantanamo Bay Cuba(Gitmo).  It is now evident that Speaker Pelosi knew full well what treatment conditions were at Gitmo.

Nancy Pelosi tried to cash in politically by speaking out about the use of water boarding and other so called forms

of torture on terrorist locked up in Gitmo while trying to crank up some anti-republican sentiment at the same time. When asked why she allowed it to continue, being on the House Intelligence Committee which deals with these issues, she had the power to put down the CIA in its attempts to glean new information from terrorists held captive in Gitmo, she responded by saying that she was lied to by the CIA about  Waterboarding. Claiming she never knew it was being used.

This is a lie according to CIA:

An unclassified chart released last month by the CIA describes a total of 40 briefings for lawmakers over a period of several years on enhanced interrogation techniques. Pelosi’s name appears once, as having attended a session on Sept. 4, 2002, when she was the senior Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee. Former Rep. Porter Goss, R-Fla., who at the time was the chairman of the committee and later became CIA director, also was present.

As Speaker Pelosi attempted to back away from responsibility and knowledge of the CIAs tactics she accused the Central Intelligence Agency of lying about the briefings.

“Yes I am saying the CIA was misleading the Congress”

Today House Minority Leader John Boehner called out The Speaker of the House saying she needs to put up or shut up.  Boehner thinks Pelosi should present either evidence of a deception or an apology.

“Lying to Congress is a crime. Purposely misleading Congress is a crime. And if the speaker is accusing the intelligence community of lying to her or purposefully misleading her, then she ought to present that evidence, turn it over to the Justice Department, have them prosecute it.”

She has yet to produce evidence that she was lied too. Yet the CIA has released several statements dismissing the allegations. A good deal of the tell tail documents concerning this topic that would prove to be the smoking gun are classified, Pelosi is counting on these documents never coming to light. She has changed her story numerous times concerning her knowledge of water boarding and other “Enhanced Interrogation Techniques”. Originally she knew nothing, that story has evolved into knowing a little bit.

In my opinion

First off:

The Speakers’ story doesn’t add up. Why would the CIA lie about their methods when The Bush Administration told them it was legal and within the standards of treatment? They had no reason to deceive any one.

CIA Director Leon Panetta , a former Democratic lawmaker from Pelosi’s home state of California, said records from the period “indicate that CIA officers briefed truthfully on the interrogation of (terrorist suspect) Abu Zubaydah, describing `the enhanced techniques that had been employed.’”

Many of her own colleagues and Democrat partners are backing away from her statements and some, as stated above, are even siding against her.

I think she’s a liar and a traitor and I know I’m not the only one.

Secondly:

I don’t have a problem with waterboarding. Any means necessary, that’s what we should employ to gain intelligence from these scum of the earth murderers. Nothing should be off limits. We should also let their fellow killers back home know what will happen to them if they mess with us.

I am not convinced that these tactics, or any others for that matter, are too harsh to be used on people who would gladly die to kill us anyway. They are all martyrs are they not?

What I would consider too harsh is crashing an airliner into a building they are trapped in and letting them die under a heap of rubble and burning jet fuel— Oh wait! Thats what they did to us. Remember? 19 Hijackers were hailed as heroes in their home lands for murdering 3000 people.

In short I don’t give a damn about what happens to any of these murderous thugs. Let them out of Gitmo, but let them out in the middle of the ocean in shark infested waters and let them swim for it, just don’t forget to chum the waters first.

How does Waterboarding sound now?

Its a Cracked World when we cannot trust our own government figures to put America ahead of their own self interests.

Is Bankruptcy for GM Inevitable?

Economics | Posted by C.C.Mitchell
May 11 2009

Experts say a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing is all but inevitable for General Motors. To restructure itself and avoid court

General Motors

General Motors

proceedings GM must convince bondholders to accept at trade of $27 billion in debt for 10 percent of its high risk GM stock. Along with that, the automaker must work out deals with the UAW, commit to factory closures, reduce the number of brands by eliminating or selling brands and force hundreds of dealers out of business; all in less than three weeks.

It has been expected for some time now that this would be the case. The long list of unpleasant financial chores to be done by the auto maker hasn’t changed since February, the tasks at hand just become more daunting as time begins to run out.

Although company executives said last week they would still prefer to restructure out of court, experts say all GM is doing now is lining up majorities of stakeholders to make its court-supervised reorganization (a euphemism for bankruptcy) move more quickly. This is evident in remarks by General Motors CEO Fritz Henderson.

“If we need to pursue bankruptcy, we will make sure that we do it in an expeditious fashion. The exact strategies I’m not getting into today, but we’ll be ready to go if that’s required,”

Bankruptcy threats may just be  a bluff to convince bondholders to take the debt for stock swap deal. This strategy didn’t work for Chrysler as a few bondholders held out, refusing to accept what came to roughly 30 cents on the dollar. Most likely GM will be dealing with some of the same bondholders that created roadblocks for  Chrysler. These bond holders constitute the biggest obstacle to avoiding bankruptcy and making the deal will not be easy. Since the government and the UAW will get more stock for debts owed then the bondholders will, they will be reluctant to make such a deal. As with Chrysler the stubborn ones decided to take their chances with bankruptcy hearings.

The president didn’t much like the hold outs in the Chrysler case. He referred to them as selfish, un-american, and said that he, “does not stand with them”. What does he expect? These companies invested billions in the auto industry and its not their money but their constituents’ money. They have an obligation to their share holders to collect as much of the debt owed them as possible. I know I would be upset if I were an investor in one of those companies that took a massive loss because GM wants to pay only pennies on the dollar.

Under Chapter 11, a company can stay in operation under the protection of the court while it sheds it’s debts and unprofitable assets to emerge in a more stable  financial position.

Yet in the event of a bankruptcy filing we the people can kiss goodbye our $15.5 billion GM has already gotten from the government. They most likely would not be forced to pay that money back. As usual the best option will be the most costly to the American people.

What’s your take on the potential Bankruptcy of GM?

Will it happen or are the blowing smoke to blind those to whom they owe money?

If they do file, is that whats best for General Motors overall?

Its a Cracked World, how do we mend it?

John Murtha Hands Government Money to His Relatives

Politics, State Politics | Posted by C.C.Mitchell
May 05 2009

Today it comes out that Congressman John Murtha may be using his political influence to help out his relatives.

A company owned by a nephew of Congressman John Murtha, Murtech Inc., received $4 million from the Defense Department last year.  Murtha has been known for getting government money for defense contractors in his home state.

John Murtha, a former Marine is the chairman of the House appropriations defense subcommittee. A very powerful position for some one who wants to further the careers of friends and relatives. Last year Murthas’ Nephew, Robert Murtha, owner of Murtech Inc. was awarded a no bid contract. Murtech Inc. provides “necessary logistical support” to Pentagon testing programs” as put by Robert Murtha himself.

You may remember how much of an issue was made of alleged no bid contracts to Haliburton by Vice President Dick Cheney. What John Murtha is doing is no different but he thinks its alright because it’s him this time and not a Republican.

Don’t get me wrong I have never been shocked by the level of hypocrisy that a politician is capable of; but this is pretty blatant.

The New York Times reported that another nephew of John Murtha’s was given a congressional lobbying position, which raised concerns in Washington last week.  Col. Brian Murtha (United States Marine Corps)was appointed to a legislative liaison position that could allow him to make direct contact with his uncle. I thought Obama was going to put an end to lobbyists in Washington.

Guess not.

John Murtha also reportedly earmarked millions of dollars to  St. Vincent College, while his cousin, the Rev. John F. Murtha, was its president.

Rep. John Murtha of Pennsylvania has been a strong opponent of the Iraq war in stark contrast to his nephews defense contracting. He has been quoted as such:

“This is the thing that has worried me right along. We’re spending $8 billion dollars a month.”

Apparently he found a way to make some of that money back and keep it in the Family  as well. The  quotes above can be found here.

He doesn’t seem to have a problem with spending billions of dollars on earmarks for his own relatives but not for issues of national security. Of course these kinds of earmarks will be overlooked by The Obama administration when it comes to rooting out earmarks from bills in congress.

Surely Rep. Murtha will be calling in favors to the president when ever his relatives need a few bucks.

Its a Cracked World; Congressman Murtha doesn’t help.
